Interior Design Colleges

When I grow up I want to become an interior designer
Now, I want some suggestions on the appropiate classes to ake in high school
I have the college narrowed to three schools here in downtown chicago
Any advice, please?

I studied Interior Design briefly. It’s one thing as an interior designer to come up with a green design, someone else is paying. What I’m looking for is cost effect green design for a commercial space. Specifically near Center County, Pennsylvania, but I’ll take what I can get *Solar paneling is always a good idea and one I support, [especially Arizona] but not cost effective in the 1st years of a business where it’s not sunny often enough. [They've invented a spray on paneling for those of you who think solar paneling is ugly looking].

I am thinking about going back to school, getting my GED, and studying to be an interior designer. How long does it take, and what prerequisites do I need?

I want to be an interior designer and i live in illinois about 2 hours north of chicago ( around gurnee, IL). i don’t really want to go that far but i honestly have no clue what to look for. can someone give me a list of all the colleges in my area that have a good interior design program?
